Earlier today, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), led by Chairperson, Mayor Hector Reuel D. Pascua, conducted a Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) meeting in response to the development of Tropical Storm Kristine. As of 4:00 AM today, Kristine has intensified into a tropical storm and is expected to bring significant rainfall and strong winds to the municipality in the coming days.
Present at the meeting were representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), and key members of the MDRRMC. Together, the officials assessed the potential risks and discussed preparedness measures to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
